Accommodation in Söderåkra
Söderåkra combines traces of the past with activities for active days; Fulvik is about four kilometres to the northeast for a beach visit. When choosing accommodation, you can first consider whether local history, golf and exercise, or time by the water should shape your stay.

History and historic architecture
In connection with the Peace of Brömsebro, part of the Swedish delegation was stationed at the Söderåkra vicarage in 1645. Skarptorpet is a soldiers’ cottage built in the 1850s: the simple building is made of round timber and has a turf roof.
Övraby preserves scattered remains of a row village that took shape in the early 19th century. Numerous agricultural outbuildings are well preserved. The contrast between the scattered traces of the village and the preserved buildings illustrates different states of preservation. The examples span the events of 1645, the early 19th century and the soldiers’ cottage from the 1850s.
Söderåkra Hembygdsgård comprises four historic buildings: a main building, a fisherman’s cottage, a barn and Emmas Stuga. Söderåkra kyrka is actually called Sophia Magdalena and is one of the parish churches of Söderåkra församling.
Golf, swimming and rocky landscapes
Möre Golfklubb offers golf in Söderåkra on an 18-hole course in open countryside. Möre Padel at Möre Golfklubb has two outdoor courts. There are therefore two different facilities to choose from for sports: the golf course in open countryside and the outdoor padel courts.
Möre bad & simhall in Söderåkra offers swimming as well as play facilities for children. The swimming centre has four 25-metre lanes. The lane length gives swimmers a clear point of reference; the play facilities add another kind of time in the water.
Kanaberg is located on the road between Söderåkra and Påryd. There you’ll find glacial deposits of huge boulders, with deep caves and long passages. You can climb and crawl around; there is also a small barbecue area. Conditions among the boulders and in the caves can vary.
Fulvik is about four kilometres northeast of Söderåkra. The sandy beach has a bathing jetty, a changing room, a toilet and a slide. The water-based activities are quite distinct: Möre bad & simhall focuses on swimming lanes and play facilities for children, while Fulvik offers a beach with a bathing jetty and a slide. You can choose between swimming indoors and a beach destination.
